As tourists gather in Battery Park on their way to see the Statue of Liberty, there are many vendors and "characters" who assemble to attract business. Occasionally, you will see someone dressed up as Lady Liberty. Clad in sunglasses, holding an American Flag, flashing the peace sign, with a hint of the stilt he stands on to appear tall.
