After Hurricane Sandy, the Financial District was severely flooded. Police, fire departments, electricians and construction workers, in every field, from many States, converged downtown to the southern tip of Manhattan to help. They bailed out water, cleaned up, repaired buildings and tunnels and restored heat and electricity to the area. Financial District, New York City, New Yro. October 2012.
