While traveling in Iceland, there was an old barn on the side of the road that had beautiful colors of rust and paint. This particular section of the barn was of particular interest to me, not only for it's beautiful subtle colors and texture, but because it is one of my favorite color palates. The combination of colors is pleasing to the eye, the weathered look gives it a feeling of history and the texture of the barn gives it depth and dimension. Presenting this section as a close-up, graphic image, highlights the details and the interaction of these earth tone colors. Iceland. May 2010.
